A Husbands Perspective: " I would like to share first of all to serve in the pop culture we live in means something very foriegn now days. I am a happily married Man and Father of 4 wonderful children. All 4 of them were born both at home and naturally. You see my wife is The Ceo of Ahavah Doula services and one tough Mother. During the awesome adventures of labor for each child, I learned quite a bit. I came out having the utmost respect for 3 people. God being the first, all Mothers, and Doulas. I learned how important a doula was and why they are the Diamond in the rough in society as we know it in the area of childbearing. My wife prepared for the baby who was soon to be our firstborn son under a very higly acclaimed Midwife who literally taught many secrets, strategies, mind sets, and natural ways that transformed our families understanding of Life, Happiness and The power of purpose. You see, A doula is a servant to the family they assist in the preparing of the mind, body, soul, and spirit to a level that even the pain that comes with childbirth is a calm whisper compared to the growth, insight, and experience a succesful birth bring to a family, let alone a precious soul; a baby. I finally found out two things after we had our last and fourth child. There is a distinction between an Ahavah Doula and other doulas. An Ahavah doula is prepared to go further, deeper, and there is a Spiritual thing that happens. Yes, you actually feel The Presence of God in the room and throuought the process. I share because most men won't. I share because of the truth of what I have experienced in my life."
